Rhythmic Gymnastics

Program Overview

Classes are recreational in nature. Students will build strength, flexibility and solid foundation. Weekly rotation will give students chance to practice and enhance their physical strength, power, agility, coordination, grace, balance and control.

 

Our Rhythmic Gymnastics program offers a sound foundation for gymnastics or any other sport in which your child may be interested. Children learns skills and drills in carefully graduated steps leading them through basic to more advanced. All classes incorporate fun and fitness into the lessons plan. Our experienced, caring and animated instructors provide a safe environment for your child to develop and grow.

Terms: Term 1: September – November; Term 2: January – March; Term 3: April – June
Sessions: 20 sessions per term (1 sesson = 60 mins.)

Skills Development

Recreational classes cater for girls from 5-16 years of age. Rhythmic gymnastics teaches children coordination, discipline, listening skills as well as gross and fine motor skills. It promotes good health by improving strength, flexibility and fitness. The children participate in activities such as tumbling, balancing, swinging and jumping in a fun and safe environment.
