QSports now offers an exciting kids Squash program in structured classes to introduce young players to the basics and benefits of the game. Squash uses specialized progressive equipment designed to help younger players learn the basics of the game and achieve maximum success. As your children progress in age and skill, so does the equipment until they are ready for regulation gear. Kids are also introduced to competitions that are held on Saturdays and throughout the year
The squash program offers both Group classes and individual classes are made up of 4 students per group (maximum) based on skill levels and are offered at Qatar Foundation Education City Clubhouse

Getting Started Level 1 focuses on the basics of squash. These basics are the starting point and builds bridges for all players to succeed in squash. Once students can demonstrate the basics, they can move to level 2. Homework will be given to students to refine skills learned in lessons.
Skills learned: Eye-hand coordination, proper stretching, rules, racquet grip and swing. Target practice, footwork, forehand and backhand.
It’s Your Serve! All students will be evaluated to ensure the basics are mastered. Level 2 continues with forehand and backhand and then adds the serve, return of serve and the drive. Official rules of the games are introduced to prepare students for the US Squash ref test. Once students can demonstrate the skills taught in this class, they can move on to Level 3. Homework will be given to students to refine skills learned in lessons.
Skills learned: Forehand, backhand, serve, return of serve, drive, footwork, beginning court movement.
Calling the Shots! This level is for students who have passed both Level 1 and Level 2. Students will start to put everything they have learned into “real time” and add cross courts, lob and the drop shot. Each week the student will strengthen their shots, play a match and be evaluated by the coach in order to improve their game. Homework will be given to students to refine their skills learned in lessons. Students must be approved to enter this class.
Skills learned: Cross courts, lob and the drop shot
Master Your Game This course will combine all the skills the student has learned into “real time” matches. Each week the student will strengthen their shots, play a match and be evaluated by the coach in order to improve their game. Shot selection, strategy and court positioning will be the focus, preparing the student to play complete matches. Homework will be given to students to refine their skills learned in lessons. Students must be approved to enter this class.
Skills learned: Shot selection, strategy, dominating the T, court positioning, drills, footwork, speed on court, match play.
This camp is designed for the child who is serious about competitive. In this camp students will be drilled on squash skill, theory, conditioning and nutrition. Students will not only play squash but also be required to complete a running and swimming program to build cardio and endurance. Instructors will work with parents to guide them on event selection for Squash junior tournaments. The instructor must approve students who are interested in this class.
